Climate Estimate
Each of our actions can have an impact on carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. All greenhouse gas emissions are converted to what are known as carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2e) because of their relative contributions to the greenhouse effect. Carbon dioxide emissions are often referred as carbon footprint, and the total of all greenhouse gases is often referred as climate footprint.
In order to take responsibility for the climate footprint generated during the manufacturing of our products, we have requested for an overall climate estimate to be made. The entire process of the production chain have been established in a complete panorama and have been calculated taking their greenhouse gas emissions as a starting point. This document forms the basis of our climate compensation. The climate report prepared by TRICORONA Climate partner.

Climate compensation
Carbon offsetting is the offsetting of one’s own CO2 emissions by financing projects that reduce other emissions or sequestration of carbon. It is one of the tools available to achieve carbon neutrality in the context of global warming mitigation.
We make climate compensation by purchasing emission allowances in the quantity (tonnes) corresponding to the CO2 emissions generated by our total production. The emission allowances we buy are fully certified under the Gold Standard (Climate Security and Sustainable Development) project.
